Hybrid Threats and Security of Strategic Domains
This sub-axis analyses threats below the threshold of open armed conflict, including hybrid operations, influence activities, economic coercion, sabotage and cyber threats. It also examines the security and resilience of critical strategic domains.
Defence Capabilities, Doctrines and Military Transformation
This sub-axis focuses on the evolution of defence capabilities and military doctrines. It examines emerging technologies, lessons from contemporary conflicts, force structures, defence procurement, operational readiness and military logistics.
Security Governance and Operational Partnerships
This sub-axis examines the institutional architecture of security, including defence governance and civil-military relations, as well as bilateral, regional and multilateral operational partnerships, training cooperation and crisis-management mechanisms.
