Forum DefSec Morocco
DefSec is GGSF’s annual platform for collective strategic intelligence on security, defence and sovereignty. Each November, it brings together more than one hundred participants – senior policymakers, military leaders, industry executives, leading researchers and international journalists – for two days of plenary sessions, thematic panels, working groups and off-the-record discussions.

DefSec is a structured working environment in which we test arguments, surface emerging risks, and build the kind of relationships across constituencies that the strategic environment now requires. Each edition produces a public synthesis report and a confidential policy memo, ensuring that what is said in the room reaches those who can act on it.
The third edition of DefSec will take place in November 2026.
Strategic Roundtables
Throughout the year, GGSF convenes a series of strategic roundtables: smaller, semi-closed conversations of around thirty participants, organized around a working paper or a question of immediate strategic relevance. Roundtables are where our research is stress-tested before publication – and where practitioners and researchers can engage on equal terms, away from the constraints of public formats.
Closed-Door Strategic Briefings
Several times each year, GGSF organizes closed-door briefings on sensitive issues for tightly focused audiences – diplomatic communities, senior military and security officials, industry leaders, and specialist journalists. These sessions operate under strict confidentiality rules and produce confidential notes for participants. They are designed for moments when the most useful contribution we can make is not a public statement but a well-informed conversation among those who need it.
